Did you know that the maps icon takes you to Apple’s HQ?
At “Apple Park” visitors can enter the 20,135 sq ft visitor center. A large aluminum model of Apple Park lets you explore the campus. Enhanced through I Pads and augmented reality, you can lift roof tops, see into buildings and walk around to see the area from different perspectives.
When you come to the Apple Visitor Center at 10600 N Tantau Ave Cupertino, bring some time to rest in Cafe Macs and see the roof top terrace. It’s the perfect place to see the main campus in real life or just to sit down and work on your own projects in a pleasant environment in the heart of Silicon Valley!
The Apple Store sells merchandize that you can only get here. And as in other Apple Stores, you can buy their usual products and get help.
2017 has been a year of big change for Apple’s HQ. After about 25 years of 1 Infinite Loop being the “Mothership,” the HQ started transitioning over to 1 Apple Park Way.
Apple is another success story that started in a garage. Not much to see, but the idea counts, so if you like to see the garage where the two Steve’s tinkered with their inventions, drive by it on 2066 Crist Dr. in Los Altos, CA or check it out online here.
Silicon Valley inventions keep getting upgraded or improved (or they disappear!). If you like to learn more uses of the Apple devices, check out Today at Apple what free training classes you can attend at any Apple Store location.
I will make the Photograph Walk class my next goal….! The kids will love Coding the Droids from Star Wars.
